Rabbits!
Our Rabbits at Old Fashioned Traditions
Rabbits have always been part of life here on the farm. Over the years we’ve raised a wide mix of breeds—everything from dependable meat rabbits to the smaller, charming varieties my oldest son enjoyed. At one time or another we’ve had Netherland Dwarfs, Mini Rex, Satin, New Zealand, Californian, French Lops, Giants, Harlequin, and Rex.
This year we’ve stepped into an entirely new chapter… Angoras!
There are five recognized Angora breeds: Giant, German, French, Satin, and English. We currently raise all but the Satin.
These beautiful rabbits are settling into their new home, and as they get fully groomed and comfortable, I’ll be updating this page with fresh photos and details about each one.
Stay tuned—there’s a lot of fluffy goodness coming.
